Dear {personalized.fname_sname},

It's hard to believe that we are in September already isn't it? As the season changes and the leaves will start to turn that beautiful amber hue, we will be keeping our schedules full of engaging courses that keep us spiritually steady through the change.

This month, the highly renowned and respected Devaki devi dasi (from India) is here to help us equip ourselves with in-depth knowledge of how to understand and deal with the ever intense and ever changing False Ego. Not to be missed!

Additionally, we have the perfect opportunity for you to develop a real talent for playing kartals and mridanga in the 10-week Kartals & Mridanga Lessons with Krishna Caitanya. So that you can always feel confident to join in any kirtan or even just tune in on your own during self-practice at home.

We have been loving the rich and wonderful world of the Vedic times in the course Overview of the Srimad Bhagavatam with our Temple President Jai Nitai dasa, who's enthusiasm and love for this subject is truly contagious. You are guaranteed to walk away feeling totally inspired and enlivened!

The final instalment of our series on Bhakti Yoga for Beginners is due in September, it has been a wonderful journey that has seen many fresh and eager new faces in the College, who have really benefited from discovering the infinite depths and joys of spirituality.

Kirtan (chanting of sacred mantras) is always a recommended way to keep oneself plugged in to the spiritual vibes come what may. Therefore, we highly recommend the upcoming course The Yoga of Kirtan, in which the legendary kirtaneer Sri Prahlada will be fanning the spark of love for all things kirtan!

From beginners to advanced students, we have it all covered. Join us for this glorious course titled The Gayatri Mantra, with our Head Priest Murli Manohara dasa, for those who have been on their devotional journey for some time and have been endowed with the mystical Gayatri mantra.

Don't forget - you can keep in good shape emotionally, mentally and physically with our weekly Holistic Yoga & Meditation classes on Mondays.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Best wishes,
London College of Vedic Studies

Yash Karia
"Chaitanya Charan dasa led us through an incredible adventure through the characters from the Ramayana and their search for Sita in the seminar Teamwork Lessons from the Ramayana. In their quest, our search for teamwork principles was also fulfilled. The stories told shed great light on fundamental aspects of leadership, teamwork and self-development, within the devotionally sweet context of Ramayana pastimes. Just as Hanuman regained his size and strength through words of encouragement prior to crossing the ocean to Lanka, I also felt devotionally recharged, at least in some way, following the class! Thank you."

- Yash Karia (Teamwork Lessons from the Ramayana)
"Teaching holistic yoga for London College of Vedic Studies has been a really positive experience so far. We are using an external venue in Swiss cottage to reach a wider audience. There is a mixed group of attendees in varying abilities and ages, and most, if not all are looking for something deeper than the physical aspects of yoga. We've been sharing some bite sized quotes of wisdom during the sessions to encourage students to search deeper and question their practice and nature of existence. It's become a nice little community group where everyone is friendly and often chats after the session. Questions on the ‘goal of yoga’ and different philosophical thoughts have popped up and the some of the group are really diving in!"
