Dear {personalized.fname_sname},

We are pleased to announce some exciting courses and seminars lined up over the next few weeks and we hope you are able to take advantage of them as much as possible!

We will be starting the new Bhakti Sastri 2020 course on 15th March which is a must for anybody who feels inspired to study the Vedic texts such as the Bhagavad Gita. The in-depth study covers the key topics such as what is the soul, karma, reincarnation, matter and spirit. This course will leave a lifelong impression on your consciousness and immerse you in the nectar of four Vedic scriptures.

We are pleased to announce in April our Temple Head Pujari, Murli Manohar dasa, will be conducting the Home Deity Worship seminar, which is not to be missed by anyone who wishes to learn how to serve the Deity form of the Lord at home – for example how to set up an altar, how to bath and dress the Lord, how to perform arati and much more.

Finally, at the end of 2019 LCVS’s coordinator Debasmita Francis stepped down from her services at LCVS. We would like to sincerely thank her for all her dedicated service. Padmanabha Nityananda dasa has been appointed as the new LCVS coordinator and here are a few words from him: "I'm very excited to be joining the LCVS team as the LCVS helps to bring people from all different walks of life to learn about spiritual topics and bhakti yoga. I look forward to organising courses which will inspire and motivate our community on their spiritual journey. If anyone is interested in teaching a course or seminar, please do get in touch with me!"
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Best wishes,
London College of Vedic Studies

"I always struggled to study properly Srila Prabhupada`s books due to a lack of time. Therefore, I convinced myself to attend a Bhakti Sastri course at LCVS, in order to help me study more and develop more knowledge about this priceless philosophy. I found the Bhakti Sastri course very interactive and useful in many ways – learning verses, writing essays and exams, discussions and very important association with devotees. Each of the qualified teachers were very helpful and compassionate towards us in all ways. It’s a long course but it is definitely worth it and a once in a lifetime experience."

"I was particularly drawn to Sadaputa dasa's (Dr. Richard Thomson) books on Vedic Cosmography which addressed the need to explain the 5th Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam and other scriptures in a way that could be appreciated by the modern mindset and academics in particular. I felt that it is important for many people today to see that the ancient scriptures are not just sentimental or mythological, but saturated in a high level of both spiritual and scientific knowledge.

About 5 years ago I began making YouTube videos on Vedic Cosmography and Astronomy because I felt there was a great need to share such understandings with the general public and in an accessible way.
The London College of Vedic Studies at ISKCON-London then asked me to deliver a day-long seminar there on the topic in January 2020.

The students in London were diverse, intelligent, and genuinely interested in what I had to say. The hours flew past! I hope the students enjoyed the day as much as I did."
