The Bhakti Sastri course takes a personal approach to learning with interactive sessions on the wisdom from the East. It explores the Vedic philosophy along with practical applications in the modern day life.
The Bhakti Sastri course, being one of the most popular courses provided by the London College of Vedic Studies, is suitable for devotees well familiar with the practice of Krishna consciousness and desiring to study Srila Prabhupada’s books in greater depths.
The following four books of Srila Prabhupada will be systematically studied:
- Bhagavad Gita As It Is
- The Nectar of Instruction
- Sri Isopanisad
- The Nectar of Devotion
This course is divided into 6 units and is specifically designed for those who would like to gain a thorough understanding of these books. The course takes a hands-on and personal approach to learning; it encourages students to not only understand the content of the books but to also digest the philosophy and practically apply it. It also promotes class interaction and discussions.
